Iraqi police kills 48 ISIS elements, destroys sniper towers in Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) The Federal Police announced that its forces had killed 48 ISIS elements in military operation in Anbar province.
Federal Police Chief, Raed Shakir Jawdat said yesterday, “The commandos managed to kill 38 terrorists and destroy 12 of the enemy’s shelters in al- Fatha Operations.”
Jawdat added: “10 terrorists have been killed, in addition to destroying two vehicles carrying machine guns in operations by the federal forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia,” pointing out that “The federal forces also managed to detonate three towers, in which ISIS snipers were hiding in Husaybah al-Sharqiya in the province of Anbar. “
