Iraqi security forces seize ammunition store in Jurf al-Nasr north of Babel

(IraqiNews.com) Babel – The president of the security committee in Babel Provincial Council announced on Monday, that the Iraqi security forces have seized an ammunition and explosives store in the area of Jurf al-Nasr in northern Babel.

Falah Radi, the head of the security committee in the provincial council, stated for IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, a force from the national security in the province, with coordination with Babel Operations Command, conducted an inspection operation in the Lakes area belonging to Jurf al-Nasr in north of Babel,” adding that, “The operation resulted in finding an ammunition store, which contained mortar shells, rockets and quantities of C-4 material.”
