Iraqi troops destroy 4 armored vehicles belonging to ISIS in Tikrit
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) The Army Operations Command in Salahuddin province announced that 4 armored vehicles belonging to ISIS were destroyed in North Tikrit.
The Army Command issued a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com that “Iraqi forces in Salahuddin engaged ISIS in al-Hamra district and managed to destroy two of ISIS’ armored vehicles, killing the occupants, and destroyed two additional armored cars that were carrying weapons and supplies to ISIS militants.”
Earlier in Salahuddin, a security source on Sunday said that “Heavy clashes broke out between the Iraqi troops and the ISIS militants in East and North Tikrit.”
