 Iraqi warplanes carry out effective airstrikes on ISIS sites in Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced, that the army’s air force conducted “effective” aerial bombings on shelters for ISIS militants in Ramadi, while stressed that the strikes resulted in killing a large number of the terrorists.

The ministry said in a statement posted on its website and followed by IraqiNews.com, “The heroes of the army’s air force had carried out accurate and effective air strikes against shelters for the ISIS militants in the areas of Hasiba and the outskirts of al-Khalediya City and Ramadi,” adding that, “The aerial bombing resulted in killing a large number of the terrorists, in addition to destroying stores for booby-trapped vehicles and leadership headquarters belonging to ISIS.”
