 Iraqi warplanes kill, injure 48 ISIS fighters in Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Wednesday, Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced, that 48 ISIS militants have been either killed or injured in an aerial bombing in Anbar province.

The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The army’s air force conducted an air strike on ISIS sites in the areas of Hasiba and Khalediyah,” noting that, “The air raid resulted in killing 8 ISIS fighters and injuring 12 others, in addition to burning 4 wheels and a gear store.”

The statement added, “Iraqi warplanes provided support for Habaniyah Airbase by killing 12 ISIS fighters and wounding 16 others, as well as destroying two vehicles and two gear stores.”
