ISIL flags found in Nasiriya

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) An official at Dhi-Qar Police Command revealed on Tuesday discovering “three flags for the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant hanged in Dawaya district of northern Dhi-Qar province.”

The official stated to IraqiNews.com “The three flags were discovered in three different positions on the high way leading to Dawaya district,” noting that “The three flags were hanged on electricity pole and wooden poles near rural road leading to the district.”

“Security forces rushed to the sites to remove the flags and started an investigation over the incident,” the official added.

“Investigations showed that some terrorist elements have entered the province along with the displaced families and assistance of the former Baathists,” the official concluded. /End/
