(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Tuesday, military sources revealed, that ISIS attacked Bashiqa military base north of Mosul, while pointed out that the Turkish troops that were stationed in the base responded to the attack.

The sources said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, ISIS tried to attack Bashiqa military base north of Iraq,” pointing out that, “The Turkish troops that were stationed in the base responded to the attack.”

The statement added, “The Turkish army was also able to hit ISIS targets near the Turkish borders.”

Noteworthy the clash with the so-called ISIS comes after a suspected member of the terrorist gangs blew himself up on Istanbul’s popular street on Saturday, killing four people and wounding dozens more.
