 ISIS attacks Taza area with 5 rockets south of Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province announced on Monday, that ISIS has attacked Taza area south of the province (250 km north of Baghdad) with five homemade rockets.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.co, “ISIS elements attacked the neighborhood of Taza, using five homemade rockets (25 km south of Kirkuk),” stressing “no casualties in the attack.”

In a related context, the source pointed out, “The international coalition aviation carried out, today, an airstrike on an ISIS convoy consisting of four vehicles that were heading to Tariqiya village (40 km west of Kirkuk),” without knowing the size of ISIS losses caused by the air strike.
