 ISIS detonates large parts of Ramadi General Hospital

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, Khalidiya Council in Anbar Province revealed, that the ISIS organization managed to detonate some parts of Ramadi General Hospital north of the city (110 km west of Baghdad), before the arrival of the Iraqi security forces.

The Head of the Council Ali Dwood said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The ISIS elements were able to detonate large parts of the Ramadi General Hospital in al-Thayyalah area in northern Ramadi, before the arrival of the security forces to cleanse the hospital of the organization’s elements.”

Dwood added, “ISIS has evacuated the civilians who were detained to other areas outside the Ramadi Hospital,” pointing out that, “Large parts of the hospital were detonated by improvised explosive devices and bombs.”
