 ISIS executes 25 citizens tried to escape from Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Saturday, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan said, that the ISIS organization has executed 25 citizens south of Mosul including women and children who tried to escape from the city.

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan spokesman in Mosul Ghias Surja said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, ISIS elements executed 25 citizens in Haj Ali village in Qayyarah area south of Mosul,” pointing out that, “The victims were shot while trying to escape from the city toward Makhmour District.”

Surja added, “The victims include four women and six children,” indicating that, “The victims’ bodies were transferred to the forensic medicine department.”

Noteworthy, ISIS has imposed its control over the city of Mosul in Nineveh Province (405 km north of Baghdad), while extended its activities to several provinces and regions.
