 ISIS executes 7 fighters including prominent leaders in Hawija

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Tuesday, al-Hashd al-Shaabi’s leader Jabbar al-Mamouri announced, that the so-called the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has executed seven of its escaped members including four prominent leaders in Hawija District in south-western Kirkuk.

Mamouri said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The so-called the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has executed seven of its members in one of Hawija villages in south-western Kirkuk,” pointing out that, “These members escaped after their defeat in Tel Kusaiba battle north of Salahuddin Province four days ago.”

Mamouri added, “Four of the executed members were prominent leaders in ISIS, including Abu Saeed al-Iraqi who was leading a number of armed units north of Muqdadiya before its liberation in January 2015.
