(IraqiNews.com) Local sources confirmed that the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) executed its former governor in Mosul Muammar Touhlh, after being accused of high treason.

Arabia news channel reported on Tuesday that, the ISIS organization appointed Hassan Sultan Jabburi instead of Muammar Touhlh.

Noteworthy, ISIS has lost a lot of its terratories in Salahuddin, what forced it to replace the title of ‘the state of Salahuddin’ with ‘the state of south of Mosul,’ and withdraw from many of its terratories in order to be close to the center of the state of its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
