(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A local source in Kirkuk Province announced on Wednesday, that the so-called ISIS has kidnapped 33 people in southern Kirkuk.

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “At dawn today, ISIS members have kidnapped 33 people from Hawija southwest of Kirkuk, while trying to escape from ISIS control toward al-Alam area east of Tikrit,” noting that, “ISIS elements herded the abductees to an unknown destination.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The majority of the abductees are members of the security services and employees in the government’s departments.”
