(IraqiNews.com) According to a local source in Nineveh province, elements of the ISIS organization have kidnapped three clerics in central Mosul because they refused the terrorist group’s practices.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Today, elements of the ISIS group kidnapped three old clerics (Ramzi, Adnan Mazouri, and Alaa Sheikh), after raiding their homes in downtown Mosul.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The abduction of the three clerics comes because of their refusal to ISIS practices,” noting that, “The clerics were driven to an unknown destination.”

It is noteworthy that the city of Mosul has been under ISIS control since June 10, 2014. It is suffering a great security and humanitarian crisis as a result of the terrorist organization seeking to impose its extreme vision on all aspects of life in the city.
