(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – An ISIS leader, Abu Ibrahim al-Shishani, a Chechen, was killed in an operation carried out by Iraqi security forces in Salahuddin province yesterday according to the Iranian channel ‘Press TV.’

Abu Ibrahim al-Shishani was the military official of ISIS’ operations in Baiji oil refinery (40 km north of Tikrit).

According to a Ministry of Defense press statement, Iraqi forces also confiscated a bulldozer belonging to ISIS during an extended operation in Salahuddin and destroyed an explosives factory along with several car bombs.
