ISIS militants sneak from Iraq, destroy six checkpoints in Jordan

(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, the ISIS group gained a foothold on the Iraqi-Jordanian border by destroying six border control posts on the Jordanian side, according to reports by Jordanian activists.

The reports confirmed, that the ISIS group fighters sneaked from Iraq into Jordan and destroyed at least six Jordanian border control posts. Jordan’s army, however,  has not yet confirmed the attacks, but if the news is certain, it will add more anxiety to which the Kingdom already has because of the militant group.

Noteworthy, the group had recently recaptured several village from Iraqi forces in west of Anbar province, located in western Iraq, and through which the country shares borders with both Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
