(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A source in the leadership of the First Rapid Intervention Division in the army announced on Sunday, that the security commander of ISIS in al-Heitaoyen area was killed during clashes south of Fallujah.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “ISIS security commander in al-Heitaoyen area south of Fallujah, nicknamed Abu Yusuf al-Iraqi, was killed, while four of his aides were wounded during clashes broke out before noon today; between security forces and ISIS elements “.

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “The military aviation and the artillery took part in the clashes.”

A security source said on Thursday (July 2, 2015), that the security forces continue to advance in al-Heitaoyen area south of Fallujah, confirming that they had killed seven ISIS members.
