ISIS Natural Resources official killed in Joint operation by US and Kurdish Special Forces

(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – On Thursday, Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) announced the death of ISIS Natural Resources administrator in a town near Iraq-Syria border in a joint operation conducted by the Kurdistan Region counter-terrorism forces and US Special Forces.
General Directorate of the Kurdistan Region Counter-terrorism along with the US Special Forces carried out a joint military operation deep inside the IS-held territories in which they killed Sami Jassim Mohammed al-Jabouri, ISIS Natural Resources o ficial.
“In the early hours of this morning, a joint operation was conducted by our Directorate General of Counter Terrorism (CTD) and U.S. Special forces in the vicinity of Qaim near the Iraqi-Syrian border killing a senior Islamic State member Sami Jassim Mohammed al-Jabouri, known by the nom de guerre Haji Hamad,” reads KRSC’s statement.
