Photos of 3 suicide bombers blew themselves up in Baghdadi
(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Thursday, a number of accounts belonging to the so-called the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on social media sites published photos of some suicide bombers who attacked al-Baghdadi area and killed Baghdadi police chief, along with senior military leaders on Wednesday.
The Head of al-Baghdadi Council Mallulah al-Obeidi said, “The suicide attacks on al-Baghdadi area have resulted in the killing of the Police Chief Bassim al-Hadithi, Captain Saeed al-Obeidi and Major Mashkour Hadithi, while injured ten policemen, including six fighters of al-Hshed al-Shaabi.”
Noteworthy, ISIS attacked the residential compound in al-Baghdadi area with more than 12 car bombs driven by suicide bombers, killing and wounding dozens of civilians and security forces, in addition to inflicting major damage on the residential compound.
Al-Baghdadi is a small area in the district of Heet located near the Euphrates River in al-Anbar province.
