Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Islamic State group detonated Albu Hayat Bridge in the western side of Anbar Province, a source told Alsumaria News on Monday.

The source said, “The Islamic State group detonated Albu Hayat Bridge in al-Waleed vicinity in Rutba District, near al-Waleed port on the borders with Syria.”

“The Islamic State blew up the bridge using high explosives, causing it to collapse,” the source added on condition of anonymity.

Noteworthy, the Islamic State is destroying bridges and infrastructure in the areas controlled by it, to hinder the advance of security forces to liberate these areas.
