Joint forces besiege ISIS in 2 villages in southern Nineveh

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A security source in Nineveh Province revealed on Saturday, that the joint forces launched a security operation to liberate Nineveh and besieged two villages within al-Qayyarah axis.
The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The joint forces from Nineveh Operations, Peshmerga and al-Hashed al-Asha’ri started an operation to liberate al-Nasr and Humaidan villages in al-Qayyarah village,” pointing out that, “The joint forces are clashing with ISIS and will liberate the two villages in the coming few hours.”
The source added, “The security forces are moving based on an accurate plan to cut ISIS supply lines.”
