(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Monday, Fallujah Liberation Operations Command in Anbar Province announced cleansing Nuaimiya area in southern Fallujah completely and raising the Iraqi flag over its buildings, while pointed out to the death of dozens ISIS members.

The commander of Fallujah Liberation Operations, Lt. Gen. Abdul Wahab al-Saadi, said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The joint security forces managed to cleanse Nuaimiya area (16 km in southern Fallujah) from the ISIS control completely, as well as raising the Iraqi flag over its government buildings,” noting that, “The battles resulted in the killing of dozens of ISIS members.”

Saadi added, “The security forces are working to dismantle the IEDs and booby-trapped buildings in Nuaimiya area, in order to secure the passage of the military vehicles, tanks and armors to storm al-Shuhada neighborhood in southern Fallujah.”

Earlier today, Fallujah District Council in Anbar Province announced, that the joint security forces began the liberation operation of the center of Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad) from the control of the so-called ISIS from three axes.
