Journalist assassinated north of Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen assassinated the journalist, Wathiq al-Ghadhanfari, in Mosul city on Thursday.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire, targeting, Wathiq al-Ghadhanfari, the director of Media Office within Nineveh Governor Office also the candidate of Motahidon Alliance chaired by the Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi, killing him, in Ziraee neighborhood of northern Mosul on Thursday.” ”The assassinated journalist runs a TV program over the history of Nineveh at Mosul local TV stations,” the source concluded.
