Khalidiya Council announces liberating al-Ta’mim area west of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Chairman of Khalidiya Council in Anbar province, Ali Dawood, announced on Tuesday the liberation of al-Ta’mim area west of Ramadi, while pointed out to the killing and wounding of dozens of elements of the ISIS organization.

Dawood said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Anti-Terrorism Force, backed by a force from the 16th division of the army as well as a force from Anbar police had managed to free al-Ta’mim area west of Ramadi, after the killing and wounding of dozens of ISIS elements.”

Dawood added that “The security forces have imposed full control over the area, in addition to seizing weapons, munitions and equipment left by ISIS elements, after fleeing into the center of the city of Ramadi.”
