Kidnapped freed in Maysan

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) A security force freed a kidnapped person after two days of kidnapping him in Amara city, the center of Maysan province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Wednesday “A police force, in cooperation with the elements of the National Security Department, succeeded to free a kidnapped person,” noting that “The person was kidnapped by a gang which asked for a ransom in Amara city.”

The force also arrested the kidnappers and referred them for investigation, the source concluded.
