Kidnapped freed, kidnappers captured western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Anti-Crime Department of Karkh side of Baghdad province freed a kidnapped person and arrested his kidnappers western Baghdad.

Spokesperson of the Interior Ministry Colonel Saad Maan said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “A force from the Anti-Crime Department in Karkh side of Baghdad succeeded to capture two persons who kidnapped a male when the force received an information from a citizen who heard the victim’s shouts while the vehicle was passing through the Asriya village of Amiriya area of western Baghdad.”

“The force stormed the house and freed the victim who was eye-blinded and hand cuffed with signs of severe beating on his body,” the statement added, noting that “The force transferred the kidnapers to the Anti-Crime department after arresting them according to Article 421.”
