Kurdish Peshmerga forces repel ISIS attack western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a local source in Nineveh province said, that the paramilitary Kurdish Peshmerga forces have repelled an attack by the ISIS group militants on western Mosul.

The source informed IraqiNews, “The Kurdish Peshmerga forces, with support from the international coalition warplanes, have managed to foil an attempt by the ISIS group militants to attack the district of Sinjar, located in western Mosul,” pointing out that, “The number of the casualties within the ISIS group remains unknown.”

“The violent attack resulted in 3 injuries among elements of the Peshmerga forces,” the source added.
