(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – On Tuesday the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan region announced the presence of four cases of AIDS during the current year, noting that the infected foreigners had been deported to their countries.

The ministry said in a statement issued on the occasion of World Day to Combat AIDS, “the Kurdistan region recorded four AIDS infections during the current year,” indicating that “the total HIV infections in the region stood at 24 cases.”

The ministry added that “all the injured are still alive and are in good health,” indicating that “the health authorities in the region provide them with full care.”

The ministry added that “among the injured foreigners,” pointing to “the deportation of all those infected foreigners to their countries.”
