(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Sunday, Kurdistan Workers Party announced, that 21 members of ISIS were killed and their weapons were seized in Sinjar District in Nineveh Province.

The armed wing of Kurdistan Workers Party said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The armed wing of Kurdistan Workers Party carried out an attack on ISIS headquarters in Shlo area in Sinjar District,” pointing out that, “The attack was launched in revenge for the martyrs of Kurdistan Workers Party.”

The statement added, “The attack resulted in the killing of 21 ISIS members,” indicating that, “Large quantities of weapons, ammunition and military gear belonging to ISIS were seized during the attack.”

Noteworthy, 22 members of ISIS were killed last week in confrontations against the fighters of Kurdistan Workers Party in Sinjar District.
