At least 34 ISIS casualties in U.S.-led strike southwest of Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that 12 ISIS elements have been killed and at least 22 others were wounded in an air strike conducted by the international coalition warplanes in Kirkuk.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “This afternoon, warplanes of the international coalition conducted an air strike against gathering sites for the ISIS group militants in central al-Hawija, located 55 km southwest of Kirkuk,” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing 12 ISIS militants and injuring at least 22 other elements of the group.”

“The operation was based on accurate information received by the international coalition,” the source added.
