(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – According to Baltic News Agency, Lithuania plans to send the first group of six military experts to Iraq for fighting against the organization at the beginning of 2017.

Military Lithuanians will work within the military unit of Denmark and will train Iraqi security forces for combating ISIS.

Lithuanian Ministry of Defense said that Defense Minister Juozas Ooljkas agreed with his Danish counterpart Peter Christensen on this plan and announced it at the Defense Ministers’ Conference of the International Coalition, which is being organized in Washington.
