Mhamadawi calls Maliki to change security leaders within MoI

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the Patriotic Sons of Iraq, Abbas al-Mhamadawi, called the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to change the security leaders within the Ministry of Interior.

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, he assured “A number of security commanders within the MoI must be replaced by others since they hold the responsibility of running the security file in Baghdad.”

“Some of the security commanders are assuming their posts since 2003 which negatively affect the security situation,” he added.

He accused “Turkey and its agents of attempting to kill all Iraqis and to instigate sectarianism by adopting the project of dividing Iraq and Syria with the Israeli support,” he concluded.
