Military solution is not enough to fight ISIS, says European Union

Mogherini said in the Institute for International Policy Studies in Rome,” the military response is necessary, but it is not the only one,” noting that,” it would not be possible to overcome ISIS unless Iraq has become a strong democratic state, including all its components.”
Mogherini continued,” Some expect to be a conflict between Sunnis and Shiites in the region for 30 years, “adding that,” the difference between Sunnis and Shiites is not religious, but there is a dispute over the authority in order to extend their regional influence. ”
