Ministry of Interior’s changes caused escape of 80 terrorists from Khalis Prison, says Zamili

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The head of the Parliamentary Committee on Security and Defense Hakim Zamili stated on Tuesday, that the Interior Ministry’s erroneous changes have led to the escape of 80 terrorist from Khalis Prison.
Zamili said in a statement issued today, “Officers’ changes that occurred inside the Interior Ministry caused the escape of 80 terrorists from the grip of justice in Khalis Prison.”
The prison of Khalis police station witnessed on Friday (May 8, 2015) bloody unrest, led to more than 40 detainees escape and the killing of 30 others in fierce clashes with the security forces, according to security sources.
