MoD announces liberating Al-Maamil area

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Defense announced liberating the area of al-Maamil of eastern Fallujah on Wednesday.

A statement by the Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “The soldiers of the Quick Response Division backed by the volunteers managed to clear the area from the ISIL terrorists.”

“They killed 100 ISIL terrorists and managed to defuse about 250 bombs,” the statement concluded. /End/
