Nineveh – (IraqiNews.com) A mass grave containing 200 bodies was discovered Monday in Mosul, understandably the bodies of people executed by Islamic State militants, Iraqi news site Sky Press said, quoting a security source.

“ A security force noticed a group of stray dogs scavenging the ground in Hammam Al-Alil. Moving to that spot, the forces ran into dead bodies pulled out by the dogs,” the website said.

Opening up the grave, 200 dead bodies were found, the report said.

A government fact-finding panel had visited the site of a mass grave in Hammam al-Alil on Sunday.

A similar discovery was made earlier this month in the same region, with 100, mostly decapitated, bodies found.
