(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Anbar Police Headquarters announced on Monday, that there is a significant progress by the security forces in the cleansing battles of Ramadi axes, indicating to the death of dozens of ISIS elements, and asserting that the next few hours will witness big victories.
Anbar Police Chief Maj. Gen. Hadi Razig said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The security forces in all its different forms, supported by the coalition aircraft, advanced in the cleansing battle of Ramadi axes,” pointing out to “the killing of dozens of ISIS elements and the destruction of a number of their vehicles”.
Razig added that “the security forces have advanced significantly in the cleansing battle of Albu Faraj and stationed behind Albu Faraj Bridge north of Ramadi,” noting that “the next few hours will witness results, after the collapse of the organization (ISIS) in the city of Ramadi, and the escape of most of its leaders and elements from the battlefield.”
