Nineveh Police arrests robbery gang wearing military uniform in eastern Mosul

Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday that forces from Nineveh Police arrested an armed robbery gang, wearing military uniform, in eastern Mosul.
The ministry’s spokesman, Brigadier General Saad Maan, said in a press statement that forces from Nineveh police’s 9th emergency brigade arrested a gang consists of four persons, who were wearing a military uniform and rob innocent civilians in al-Quds neighborhood, in eastern Mosul.
This gang was impersonating security forces, Maan added. The gang is the second to be arrested in three days in eastern Mosul.
Earlier this month, intelligence of the Rapid Response Units arrested an armed group, also wearing a military uniform, in Hamam al-Alil area, in Nineveh Province.
