Nineveh Police Command: 26000 elements of Nineveh police ready to liberate Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Monday the Leadership of Nineveh Police announced, that 26 thousand of its members are ready to participate in the liberalization operations of Mosul from the so-called ISIS control.
Nineveh Police Chief Maj. Gen. Bahaa al-Azzawi said in a press statement obtained IraqiNews.com, “26 thousand elements of the local police are ready to participate in liberalization operations of Nineveh Province, after receiving intensive training.”
Azzawi added, “Nineveh Liberation Command and the leadership of the provincial police are coordinating to carry out the upcoming military operations.”
A security source in Kirkuk announced on Sunday, that 40 vehicles belonging to the Iraqi army crossed Kirkuk toward Makhmour area southeast of Mosul in preparation to liberate the city.
