Obama calls Congress to authorize use of force against ISIS

(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, U.S. President Barack Obama called the Congress to pass a resolution authorizing the use of military force against the ISIS organization.

Obama said in his annual speech reported by ‘Reuters’ and followed with IraqiNews.com, that the international coalition led by the United States achieves success in stopping the progress of the terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.

Obama addressed the Congress, “And tonight, I call on this Congress to show the world that we are united in this mission by passing a resolution to authorize the use of force against ISIL.”

Concerning the sanctions against Iran, Obama stressed that, “New sanctions passed by this Congress, at this moment in time, will all but guarantee that diplomacy fails.”
