Officer killed in central Baquba

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) A police Lieutenant was killed and his brother was injured in hands of gunmen in Diyala province.

A security source told IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “Unidentified gunmen stormed into the officer’s house in Shifta village of central Baqubal, capital of Diyala, killing him immediately while his brother was injured.”

“A security force rushed to the incident spot and transported the wounded person to the hospital and the dead body to the morgue,” the source added.
