Official assassinated in Basra [11/27/2014]

Basra (IraqiNews.com) The director of the voilations elemination department, in Basra governorate, has been assassinated, while his driver was injured following an armed attack of unidentified gunmen in Tahsinia area, in the center of Basra province.

The head of the security committee in Basra provincial council, Jabbar al-Saadi, told Iraqi News on Thursday “A group of gunmen opened fire from their machine guns, at Mackie Tamimi , the director of the voilations elemination department, in Basra governorate, resulted in killing him and injuring his driver on the spot, in Tahsenia area.”
