Official killed in western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An employee of the Ministry of Transport was killed due to an armed attack erupted between the security forces and gunmen in Khadraa neighborhood of western Baghdad.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “The director of the Transport Mechanisms Department within Ministry of Transport, Ali Ibraheem, was gunned down by random gun shots when a security force within Baghdad Operations Command clashed with an armed group at the highway towards Abu Gharib area of western Baghdad,” noting that “All the gunmen were killed in the armed chasing.”

The source added “The security forces transported the dead body of the victim to the morgue.” \
