Pentagon: There is no coordination between US and al-Hashed al-sha’bi militia

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – the US Defense Department (Pentagon) denied the presence of any coordination between the American soldiers, who were sent to the Iraqi military base al-Taqadom and al-Hashed al-sha’bi militia (Volunteer fighters) that exist there.

Pentagon spokesman Col. Steven Warren said that, “there is no interaction between the US 450 military personnel and al-Hashed al-sha’bi at al-Taqadom base.”
