7 people killed, injured eastern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Seven people were killed and injured including Sahwa members on Tuesday due to couple IEDs to the east of Tikrit, capital of Salah il-Din.

Security source told Iraqi News “Sticky bomb that was fixed to a car belonging to Sahwa exploded in Dour district of eastern Tikrit, killing Sahwa member and injuring other.”

“Another IED blew up successively amid gathering of people who crowded following the first IED blast, killing two civilians and wounding three others,” the source added.

“Security force transported the injured to a hospital while the dead bodies were sent to the morgue,” according to the source.
