4 Persons killed, wounded northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Four persons were either killed or wounded when a fuel tanker to the north of Tikrit city.Security source reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”An Improvised Explosive Device, which was emplaced on a roadside in Shurqat district, exploded when a fuel tanker passed in Salah-il-Din province.””The explosion of the fuel tanker resulted in killing the driver and wounding three civilians where accidently nearby the explosion area,” the statement added.”The security forces attended the explosion location transporting the dead body to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the statement concluded.
