Peshmerga deny clashing with Iraqi Army forces

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Peshmerga denied any clashes between the Peshmerga forces and the Federal Iraqi Army forces in Tuz Khormato district.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Peshmerga, Lieutenant General Jabar al-Yawer, declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”There have not been any clashes between the Iraqi Army forces and Peshmerga where the news are totally groundless.”

Some media outlets quoted a local official that two helicopters belong to the Iraqi Army forces suffered shooting by the Peshmerga forces when the helicopters were flying above Tuz Khormato district.
