Peshmerga foils ISIS attack at southern Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province informed on Thursday that five ISIS members were killed and six others injured as Pehmerga forces today foiled an attack of the outfit at al-Athchana village in Daquq district, situated some 30 km from Kirkuk.
“ISIS, through these attempts, is trying to prove that it is still able to attack the security forces in Kirkuk,” added the source seeking anonymity.
