(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Sunday, a source in the Kurdish Peshmerga forces announced retaking two villages from ISIS grip east of Mosul.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “On Sunday, Kurdish Peshmerga forces backed by the international coalition aviation carried out a military operation and managed to retake the villages of Tel Aswad and al-Mofty east of Mosul.”

Noteworthy, a number of media outlets stated, that the US-led coalition backed by the Kurdish Peshmerga forces launched an attack to retake a number of villages in Mosul.
