Peshmerga launches military operation in Sinjar under Barzani’s supervision

(IraqiNews.com) Arbil – Peshmerga forces have begun on Thursday the implementation of an extensive military operation to liberate the city of Sinjar (110 northwest of Mosul).
The reporter of IraqiNews in Arbil said that the operation was launched last night under the supervision of the President of Kurdistan Massoud Barzani and the support of the international coalition, pointing out that an intensive aerial and artillery bombardment is targeting the headquarters of the organization in Sinjar now.
